3. How to install modifications
In most cases, my modifications do not require complex installation and special knowledge.
Often, the installation is very simple and consists of moving the downloaded files to the game folder, confirming the replacement with new ones. Also, there are modifications with complex installation, but they are also not complicated. For example, you may need a specific version of the game or installation of additional software for the modification to work correctly. I always inform about this and help install the mod if difficulties arise.
4. Does the modification affect FPS
On the page of each modification on this site, there is an icon that indicates the effect of the modification on FPS.
As a rule, all modifications have original system requirements.
Here it is important to focus on the maximum system requirements!
In modifications that use additional shaders and effects, a decrease in FPS is possible, in the region of 10-15 frames.
In any case, everything will depend on the power of your PC and the screen resolution.
For example, a game in 1080p resolution will have +100 FPS, but,
when switching to 4K resolution and higher, FPS drops can be very noticeable.
5. Is there technical support
Each modification has technical support. I always answer questions about installation or setup.
It is in my interests that everything works properly and stably for you. This rule only applies to modifications that I made (HIBOMB). I do not consult and do not waste my time on questions about modifications from third-party developers. Technical support is lifetime. 6. Do I need to donate every time an update is released for a modification?
No, you do not need to. By supporting the project once, you get free access to all updates within one modification for life. I do not turn my subscribers into a cash cow. In exchange for my approach, I always ask not to distribute my modifications in the public domain. After the announcement and release of the update, a mailing is made in a personal message or by mail. Therefore, it is always important to leave contact information.
